Meroë was a great city of the ancient Kingdom of Kush, on the Nile in what is now Sudan, a crossroads of trade, craft and botanical knowledge. We borrow its name as a promise: to honour where things come from, and to bring that knowledge into modern rituals.

Simple on purpose
Sourced at origin. Argan, prickly pear and frankincense from the Agadir region of Morocco; baobab from South Africa; Kalahari melon from Namibia.
Cold-pressed. Oils are pressed without heat or solvents to keep them true to the plant.
Bottled fresh. Small batches in UV-protective amber glass with a bamboo cap, in 30 ml and 50 ml.

The 30 ml is the ritual size, ideal for the face and for travel. The 50 ml is made for the whole routine, face, body and hair.

Are the oils really organic?
Yes. Each elixir is 100% organic, single-ingredient botanical oil. Certification details will be listed on each product page as they are finalised.
Can I use one oil on face, body and hair?
Argan is our all-over favourite. Others suit particular uses: Prickly Pear and The Perfect Match for the face; Frankincense, always blended first with a few drops of Prickly Pear or Argan (2 drops Frankincense to 3 drops carrier); Baobab for body and hair; Kalahari Melon for face and fine hair.
How much should I use?
Three to four drops for the face, a little more for the body, and one or two for hair. Start with less and add as needed.
How should I store my elixir?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap closed. The amber glass helps protect the oil.
